I suspect an authentication problem. Your application is attempting to access this calendar with bad credentials. Maybe your app, or the os, or a proxy has cached the username/password, token or cookie somewhere and it is being submitted to Google. I realize that this is on a customer's machine, but if you could capture the actual http traffic, you could probably see what is happening.
