The google response gave this url:
http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/**********vt7iu7itujcjej0%40group.calendar.google.com/private/full?start-min=2009-07-26T23%3A00%3A00-06%3A00&start-max=2009-07-31T23%3A00%3A00-06%3A00&gsessionid=VqlH5FOiw4GnxqrEKL0ciA

I extracted the gsessionid string and added it to my original url:
http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/**********vt7iu7itujcjej0%40group.calendar.google.com/private/full?start-min=2009-07-26T23%3A00%3A00-06%3A00&start-max=2009-07-31T23%3A00%3A00-06%3A00&gsessionid=VqlH5FOiw4GnxqrEKL0ciA

I'm not sure what the amp; string is in the google response so didn't
try returning it.
