I recently implemented a web calendar using E2CS/EXTJS. It worked OK in Firefox, but unfortunately my user population is constrained to having to use IE6.0...where it was just too slow under all the JavaScript.
E2CS was over-kill, my users don't need to add/edit calendar events (that's done elsewhere). I just need a light-weight speedy web calendar for display purposes only.
