Thanks for reporting this issue! There is indeed a typo in the file "
gdata/calendar/data.py<http://code.google.com/p/gdata-python-client/source/browse/src/gdata/calendar/data.py>"
on the line 33 which should read:
[CODE]
GCAL_TEMPLATE = '{%s}%%s' % GCAL_NAMESPACE
[/CODE]
A patch is on its way but feel free to manually update your version of the
client library in the mean time.
