"Our engineers might have found the issue but are waiting a little bit to 
make sure that the error rate slows down. I will let them know that it seems 
to be resolved for you."

 

We provided Google with a sample account that was consistently seeing this 
issue and I guess that helped them narrow down the root issue. Our customers 
have since stopped reporting this issue so it does appear that Google has 
corrected this issue for the moment. I can finally get some sleep and stop 
spending countless hours responding to customer complaints.
