To be safe, you should save the entire event's Atom ID which should look
like:




http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/default/events/f09jtu3goq3i14flfuj5rfed2c

Or better, the event's edit link which should look like this:


https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/default/private/full/f09jtu3goq3i14flfuj5rfed2c

This way, you won't have to do string manipulations to retrieve an event
stored in your database.
