Events created with RDATES work correctly in the Web UI, but on other clients ( iPhone, Android, Lightning, iCal, etc ), the originating event would appear, but only some ( <50% ) of the recurrences did.
When we asked google (October 2011), they said it was a known issue, and to not create events using RDATES. I terms of workarounds.. The only solution I came up with was creating a recurring meeting using RRULEs that had the correct number of occurrences, and then update each of the occurrences moving it to the correct time. The web ui doesn't allow for events with random recurrences, so it's not surprising that it's difficult with the API. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Calendar Data API" group.
