Summary: I would like to be able to specify margin widths so I can be sure my image maps are in the right place. Or better, you render image maps and let us register js functions that can act as callbacks for mouseover and click events.
More Info: I currently overlay my charts with an image map so I can process mouseovers and clicks. But to position the hot spots I need to know the size of the areas surrounding the chart (the legend, title, ticks, etc). For now, in my code I have hard coded the sizes of these areas using trial and error. Solution 1: Would like to be able to specify the margin sizes to take the 'luck' out of image map positioning. Solution 2: You all render the html imagemap for me. For a given dataset, I could register the names of javascript functions that acts as a callbacks for mouseover and clicks.
