A slightly different solution is this: http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?cht=bvs&chs=200x125&chd=t:150,50,60,80,40&chco=c6d9fd|4d89f9|4d89f9|4d89f9|4d89f9&chbh=20&chds=0,160
That is using a bar '|' as a separator for the colors specified in chco to provide the colors per bar. You can combine this with multiple series by separating the sets of colors with a comma ','. Worth noticing here is that '|' uses wrap around, while ',' repeats the last entry if not enough colors are given.
