I am rendering some Google-o-meters (in my Rails app) using a 2:1
aspect ratio (width = 200px; height = 100px). My pointer label is the
underlying numeric data value (say...'42%'...or something like that
passed as a string).

My labels show up fine at the top 12 o'clock position...but when I
have labels longer than about 4-characters at the extreme left or
right, they get truncated and cut off, as though the rendering area is
not wide enough. Setting my google-o-meter display area to a wider
setting does not seem to help.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks!

Peter
