Can anyone from Google give a hand on this? Is there any kind of
encoding that could be interpreted by Google to perform that?
I have tried the common python encodings:

'\xe6\x97\xa5\xe6\x9c\xac\xe8\xaa\x9e'
>>> unicode('日本語', 'utf-8')
u'\u65e5\u672c\u8a9e'
Both fail (considered as string)...
