In many instances it is useful to plot a bar chart with variable width of bars. Strangely enough, it is not implemented neither in Excel, nor in Chart API, even though it is highly anticipated and could be of great value to users liek myself. I use R programming language and Matlab to perfrom these rather simple tasks.
>From a syntax viewpoint, what's need is allowing chbh= <bar_width_or_scale> to be a vector.
