How do I, or can I, modify the API for a scenario such as:

Below is my current API build:

http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?
cht=map&chf=bg,s,0000FF&chs=500x300&chld=US-AZ|US-AL|US-AR|US-CA|US-CO|
US-CT|US-DE|US-FL|US-GA|US-IA|US-ID|US-IL|US-IN|US-KS|US-KY|US-LA|US-
MA|US-MD|US-ME|US-MI|US-MN|US-MO|US-MS|US-MT|US-NC|US-ND|US-NE|US-NH|
US-NJ|US-NM|US-NV|US-NY|US-OH|US-OK|US-OR|US-PA|US-RI|US-SC|US-SD|US-
TN|US-TX|US-UT|US-VA|US-VT|US-WA|US-WI|US-WV|US-
WY&chco=F5F5F5,EDF0D4,3399CC,0000FF&chtt=USA|Plant
+Locations&chts=0000FF,10,c&chm=fTolleson\,+AZ,FF0000,0,0,10|fExcelsior
+Springs\,+MO,FF0000,0,21,10|fColumbia\,+SC,FF0000,0,37,10

Would like to (actually need to):

* the states I dynamically build into the &chm parm need to be shown
as a "selected" color
* the states NOT included in the &chts parm need to be shown as the
"unselected" color
* leave the states in the &chld parm alone (the can change like those
in the &chm parm)
* the water areas would like to show as blue
* the unselected area from the top of Minnesota to the top of Maine
deleted but not blue (like water)
* the blue area above the Northern border of the US deleted, not blue,
not as "unselected"

And would really be wonderful if the "flags" could actually be placed
close to the actual zip code -or- city name specified in the &chm
parm.

Thanks to everyone who reads this and tries to help me solve it.
-Scott
