Hi,
Below is the html that generated scatter plot.
Date is already embedded as :

   ['Age', 'Weight'],
          [ 8,      12],
          [ 4,      5.5],
          [ 11,     14],
          [ 4,      5],
          [ 3,      3.5],
          [ 6.5,    7]
        ]);

How to modify the code to let it load local data sources.
for example my html saved to :
C:\Users\my pc\personal document
under same folder includes my data file:
C:\Users\my pc\personal document\data.txt
(or in cvs, json, xml format)

is there a method of modifying the api code to let it reference the local
file. thanks.

  <head>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.google.com/jsapi";></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
      google.load("visualization", "1", {packages:["corechart"]});
      google.setOnLoadCallback(drawChart);
      function drawChart() {
        var data = google.visualization.arrayToDataTable([
          ['Age', 'Weight'],
          [ 8,      12],
          [ 4,      5.5],
          [ 11,     14],
          [ 4,      5],
          [ 3,      3.5],
          [ 6.5,    7]
        ]);

        var options = {
          title: 'Age vs. Weight comparison',
          hAxis: {title: 'Age', minValue: 0, maxValue: 15},
          vAxis: {title: 'Weight', minValue: 0, maxValue: 15},
          legend: 'none'
        };

        var chart = new
google.visualization.ScatterChart(document.getElementById('chart_div'));
        chart.draw(data, options);
      }
    </script>
  </head>
  <body>
    <div id="chart_div" style="width: 900px; height: 500px;"></div>
  </body>
</html>
