Hey all, VERY late to the game on this one, but my team at Ramen recently spun out some internal functionality into a standalone product that can help with this: https://ChartURL.com <https://charturl.com/>
Even though the Google Image Chart API probably isn't going away for a while, we wanted something with a little more customization -- and a little more reliable than "deprecated" ;) With ChartURL.com, you can generate charts on the fly using an "Encrypted URL" scheme, or you can send us huge amounts of data through a POST and we'll return a Short URL that'll resolve to an image. We built it on top of C3js <http://c3js.org/examples.html>, so there's a ton of flexibility. These URLs can be used in web apps & mobile apps, but the original intent was email charts so I hope this helps!
