Analytics integration with downloads isn't possible at present, but we do have an open issue for it if you want to append your feedback: http://code.google.com/p/support/issues/detail?id=435
If your main interest is just download counts, we do list these on the download list page for each project. This only provides a count up to the current point in time, though.
