i serve web sites direct from a google code and its works very well: - no need for a separate CMS - rollback and version control handled automatically - for intranet stuff, just add a .htpasswd file and you get privacy - collaborators share work using svn (and their products are web- accessible)
problem: if i enter "html tinker mode" i can make 100 small changes to 30 pages in an afternoon. then anyone subscribed to the rss feed for commits gets a blizzard of emails saying "typos fixed" or "alignment problem resolved" or "link added" or "text clarified" etc a similar information overload is see in "sources > changes": hundreds of lines of dull and boring so, i write to ask: is there somewhat to tag updates "minor" and "major" and then add filters to the rss feed and "sources > changes" such that i can hide a blizzard of minor updates from those tracking the code base? t --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hosting at Google Code" group.
