Hi Massimiliano,

You can just label the old releases as "deprecated".  They will not be
visible to users who see the default list view.  And, any user who
clicks to download will see a warning about the fact that the file has
been deprecated.

To label a download "deprecated", click on part of the row in the
download list other than the filename.  That takes you to the
downloads detail page for that download, and you can edit labels via
the form at the bottom of that page.
