Hello, everyone. I sent this message to [email protected] a week ago, but I haven't gotten a reply yet. Maybe I should post it here?
Hello, Google Code staff. We, the developers of Warzone 2100, an open-source cross-platform real- time strategy game (wz2100.net), are moving our repositories from Gna, and we are considering, among other options, hosting our project at Google Code. Our project is very large - each branch is around 200-600 MB uncompressed (Trunk is 400-600 MB depending on whether or not FMVs/ cinematics are included), and binaries are usually ~120 MB, not including the FMVs/cinematics, which add another ~160 MB. 1-2 GB is estimated to be enough for the entire SVN repository, and we would probably need another 2-3 GB to host binaries. We'd like to include FMVs with downloads, so that would require at least 300 MB per file. In other words, we're well above your default 100 MB total repository/ downloads limit, and your 10 MB per-file limit. We've noticed your "What's New" page lists increased limits - 40 MB files, 1 GB svn, and 2 GB downloads, but we exceed those, too (and we note that this is contradicted elsewhere - where are the correct limits listed?). Can you host us? If so, how much space can you offer? - Zarel --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hosting at Google Code" group.
