Hello, We're a new Linux distribution that has recently formed. Currently, we have around 30 developers and are hosted at SourceForge. Our repository has grown to around 3GB and we expect it to grow to around 6-8GB by the time we're stabilized...this of course, is too much for SourceForge and they are asking us to reduce the size of our repository OR leave to host elsewhere. Our concept for SVN is to have each branch of our repository represent a different distribution that builds off our core. The problem with this concept is that we've outgrown SourceForge and are looking for a home for our SVN.
The reason for my post is that if we can't get that amount of space for our project...I'd be silly to start a google code project at all :/ So I'm asking if this would even be possible in order to save our time and yours :) Our current webpage: http://unity-linux.org current websvn: http://svn.unity-linux.org Do you think we could have an increase right out of the gate for our project if it is hosted at google code? It's probably a lot to ask but I'm asking anyway :D I really appreciate the help and reply! Thanks :) Regards, Derrick Devine aka devnet PS: ISO downloads do not have to be made available or be stored at google code so we can keep bandwidth/disk quota lower...we can always just put those elsewhere.
