To the Google Code and Google Groups Administrators: I just wanted to express my sincerest thanks for having this service. I'm currently on my final leg of my Bachelor's of Computer Science. This semester, several close friends and I took our Senior Software Engineering class together. As part of our development tools, we decided to use Google Groups and Google Code as our collaboration tools. Needless to say, we not only impressed our instructor by having a subversion repository available, but he enjoyed the group we created.
While we pretty much only used the code site for it's repository, that in and of itself solved several collaboration issues that would have tied us down. Also, the group proved to be invaluable. We kept our team meeting minutes, notes on personal random 2 a.m. design fugues, and any other sorts of thoughts in the pages section. We posted, discussed, and posted reminders. Needless to say, both services proved essential to the A we earned. Once again, thanks for all the hosting services. You really helped us survive the most demanding programming project we've ever run into. We owe our A as much to Google Code and Groups as we do ourselves.
