Hi! I was wondering why the download speeds are quite low.
I tried today to download http://taverna.googlecode.com/files/taverna-workbench-2.1.b2.dmg - and I seem to get speeds like 10-12 kB/s using Firefox 3.0.11 on OS X on a 5.5 MBit ADSL-link in UK. Trying the same download from SourceForge (http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/taverna/ taverna-workbench-2.1.b2.dmg using mirror heanet) gives me download speeds of 500 kB/s. Trying from a different connection (10 Mbit) in Norway I get using wget adound 11Kb/s, and abourt 1.4 M/s from the heanet mirror, and 1.6 M/s using the sunet mirror. What can be the reason for this?
