Hi Olivier, Providing code metrics for code.google.com sounds cool. Fully supporting this idea.
I also wanted to mention that there is an integration between Programeter and GoogleCode which gives you the set of metrics and analytics about project. It is free (though not open source) and is different from Sonar as concentrates on project management aspects.
