Thanks for the info David. I am working on a shopping cart for the Python framework web2py (web2py-estore). The primary motivation is to showcase the features of web2py (such as running on GAE), but I have a client now who wants a customized version of it. This is great because it means I get paid to add features to my pet project. So I wanted to state on the project page that I can be hired to add features, host, etc.
