There currently is no time period associated with project deletion. If you'd like to re-use the project name for a different project, we advise that you undelete the project, reset the source repository, close the issues in the issue tracker, and start over. If there are assets in the project that you'd like to be hidden, take comfort from the fact that projects that are awaiting deletion are not visible to anyone except the project's owners (try logging out of your browser and visiting the project).
