I have the opposite problem - I've deleted my gmail account but my
username is still shown as "samj6n" while I would prefer it reverted
to my email address. Can this be arranged?

Ideally I'd use my domain name (samj.net) but I created a "samjnet"
account before the dots were allowed in usernames and now all
permutations with dots are "taken". Would love to be able to change my
Google Account username (e.g. samjnet -> samj.net) - is that possible
too?

Sam
