I really like the google code platform and think it's much more
reliable than source forge, but at the current point a lot of people
don't know how to test this and just want to provide the 'me too
input' to point out that a lot of people have the same exact problem.

I'm sorry and I would provide you with a http trace, but I never used
it and think you would have a much better chance of figuring out whats
going on, if you would install maven and configure the svn wagon. I'm
more than happy to provide a configuration pom (see below) for this or
create a google project and add you to it to make it as painless and
easy as possible for you to test.

This would also give you the possibility to execute the same procedure
over and over again to trace the issue and so speed up this progress
by a lot. This could be even integrated into a automatic test suite to
avoid this issue the next time.

For example here is a project which has the same problem as some other
projects of mine or the community of people using svn-wagon

http://code.google.com/p/cdk-maven-mojos/

it can be checked out with

svn checkout http://cdk-maven-mojos.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
cdk-maven-mojos-read-only

and deployed with maven 2.0.9:

mvn deploy

which well attempt to upload the data to the svn. And fail with the
known error message

The actual pom would be this:

http://code.google.com/p/cdk-maven-mojos/source/browse/trunk/cdk-maven-mojo/pom.xml

Can I help you with anything else?

regards,

gert
