The script is the "binary release" of this project. It downloads
binary images from somewhere other than Google Code to set up the
flashing station.

How does this make the binaries any less trustworthy than if the
author had uploaded them to Google Code? Every time you download and
run something rather than build it from source, from Google Code or
anywhere else, it is a decision to trust the creator of the binary.
The location of the download changes nothing to that fact.

I'll admit it's a slightly unusual way of distributing the binary
release, but it makes sense if the server it pulls from is eg. a
continuous or nightly build server that serves fresh images rather
than stable releases.

Also, it looks like the site that the script pulls from is down, I get
only 404s when I try to retrieve those binaries. Fortunately, the
project does contain the source code, in accordance with the Terms of
Service of Google Code, so you can still build the project yourself if
you want.
