I'd like to take over the project labeled 'juxta' on Google Code for our open-source Java project (also called Juxta), which you can find documentation of here: http://juxtasoftware.org. I attempted to contact the owner of the project on the 14th and have received no reply. The current project has no source commits to it and (as far as I can tell) has had no activity of any sort for almost two years.
Juxta is an open-source java project for collating and comparing various versions of the same textual work, and is in use in literary scholarship research, for example, of nineteenth century text documents. Juxta was originally created as a research project at the University of Virginia in 2003. We are attempting to migrate the code from its current home at SourceForce to Google Code. Thanks for your consideration. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Project Hosting on Google Code" group.
