Hi, Today I read the FAQ again including "What should I do if I wish to take over a project", and now I mail to you about my situation. I am working on a project for my students who should submit their home works to me. My project is to build a web application to handle these home works. I would like to open the sources and use "mywork" as the project name, but it is already taken on May 06, 2007 on Google Code. However, that project( http://code.google.com/p/mywork/source/list) has no any source or any other evidence indicating its activity for almost three years already.
Actually, I had tried to contact its owner, but no any reply was sent to me. I had sent mails to [email protected](and @hotmail.com, @live.com, @ live.cn) in Sep, 2009. Based on the inactivity of that project and the owner's mail box, I think the project is abandoned by its owner. I am applying its ownership from you, please help me.
