The software depends on specific versions of openoffice. e.g. the current version depends on v 3.1.1 .
i wanted to archive the openoffice.org installation (about 150 mb) for a specific release (for future releases from now onwards) -- as i have realized it is quite difficult to find older releases of openoffice a couple of points behind the current one e.g. someone was using the previous version of our app -- and they were unable to find a download for openoffice 3.0.1 when they had to reinstall the system.
