I have a very similar problem. In my case there is some intellectual property that should not have been checked in. I can't un-checkin, I marked the whole project for deletion, and locked out all other users. But it's just been sitting there since then, for at least a couple of months. It says: "Scheduled for deletion by owner. Currently eligible for deletion.", but never goes away.
Can the admins for google-code-hosting delete it?
