I'm getting similar behavior on my project, although it seems to be
intermittent. My situation is a little different as I'm the only user
committing to the project. Most of the time I get MKACTIVITY errors,
but occasionally I get CHECKOUT errors during a commit. If I keep
trying to commit, it will eventually go through. My latest commit took
12 tries before it finally went through.

I've noticed this behavior off and on for about a week now. Does
anyone have any information about this?
