Hello, I am with a small company that also develops widgets, gadgets, extensions etc. For this we have created an API that all of these widgets use. Use of this data is restricted to our widgets.
However, we have noticed that a project hosted on Google Code also uses our API which is a violation of our Terms of Service. We have tried to contact the project owner, but he did not respond. So we have sent out a DMCA case according to http://www.google.com/code_dmca.html yesterday. How does it go on from here? I assume that Google verifies whether this DMCA case is valid or not, right? How long does this verification process take? And - given that the DMCA case was valid - how long would it take until the project can be taken down? Thank you for your help!
