Hi, I would like to create a project on Google Code called "scar". I am unable because there is a project on SourceForge with this name: http://sourceforge.net/projects/scar/ The SourceForge project was created in 2007. It has never had any files checked in to the SCM, has never had any files available for download, has never had any posts to the forums or mailing lists, etc.
Through Google Code, I requested that the SourceForge project owner be contacted about allowing me to use the name. Even though their project is completely stagnant, they apparently responded that I could not. Would you please allow me to create a project under the name "scar" on Google Code? My project (a build system) is unrelated to the SourceForget project (a mobile network protocol).
