- The original author jonathan.buchanan<http://code.google.com/u/jonathan.buchanan/> has abandoned the project (over a year with no updates by him). - The other committer to the GC project, brosner<http://code.google.com/u/brosner/> (CC'd), is on board with this takeover request. - We've made reasonable attempts to contact Jonathan (myself over the last two days, brosner for a lot longer, as mentioned in his blog<http://oebfare.com/blog/2010/mar/31/state-things/#django-tagging-voting-mptt> ) - I'm in charge of the continued development of the project (currently at github <http://github.com/django-mptt/django-mptt/>). Let me know if there are any objections or if you need more information.
