Thanks again for looking into this, but I am entering the Google Code (as 
opposed to the google.com) password correctly. I have tried to copy-paste it 
into the terminal window, regenerate the password, type it by hand, etc., all 
with no joy. So I am pretty confident that it's not a result of an incorrect 
password.
