Hi, I've decided to rename my project "PantsMUD" to "Pants" since it's becoming a framework that will hopefully be useful outside of the MUD context. I tried to register the Google Code project "pants" several weeks ago but I wasn't able to do so because a project with that name exists on Sourceforge. I did as the application form suggested and sent an e-mail to the maintainer, but they have yet to respond.
The "Pants" project on Sourceforge is described as "a game that is *sort of* in the tetris puzzle style". From what I can see, the last updates were in 2007. My project is a framework for use by developers who are interested in writing a very small-scale MMO. I'm actively working on the code, and intend to commit a major refactor in the next few weeks. I would like it if I could use the "pants" name here on Google Code. I don't think I'm likely to get a response from the other project's maintainer, and so am asking here to see if someone can make it happen. Thanks, Chris. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Project Hosting on Google Code" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
