The problem there is that the "Blocked on" field is only meant to accept a list of the Issue ID numbers of other issues, not a textual explanation. If you want to describe what is blocking you in words, just put that into the issue description or a comment. Or, if you have another issue like Issue 43: "Prepare a new release", then you could enter "43" there.
I plan to add autocomplete/immediate-validation to the "Blocked on" and other fields that require issue IDs. Also, that error message relates specifically to that one field, so it should have been a big hint to you that something was wrong with that one field. However, I can see how you might have thought that it assumed to the whole form because it was on the last field in the form. I might try to add an even clearer visual association between the invalid field value and the error message. Thanks, jason!
