For days now the Google Code site has been incredible slow, particularly when it comes to write operations (such as committing code or opening issues). Today it has become not just slow but error prone and unusable. I'm getting 500 errors almost constantly, and am unable to commit my code. This is from multiple computers and multiple ISPs (I've been having this issue both from home and work).
I have spent the last hour trying to make a commit, but have been unable to. Each time I get a 500 error from the server. In some cases I'll get the 500 error, but when I update my repository it turns out the commit actually did go through despite the error. I opened an issue about the problems (http://code.google.com/p/support/ issues/detail?id=4957) but thought I should send a message along since I'm not sure if the issue tracker is for actual bugs, as opposed to what appears to be infrastructure issues.
