Hi,

There is a useful project called 'macfuse' developed by a Googler (Amit
Singh). http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/

Unfortunately Amit left the project and does not develop anything on it
anymore. The last commit was in 2008 (almost 4 years old).

This project is really vital for mac community that is why there are several
people work on its own forks, such as

https://github.com/macfuse/macfuse
https://github.com/bfleischer/macfuse
https://github.com/tuxera/macfuse
https://github.com/anatol/macfuse

and a few more.

This situation is less than optimal. The best of all is to grant ownership
to some person who'll continue the project development.

What is the 'transfer project ownership' protocol?
