    Fascinating.
    Let me ask first: are you able to sync this repository to some location
other than Project Hosting? For example, if you set up an empty repository
on your own machine, could you sync it there?
    If you are able to do that, you can then remove the problematic property
in that local copy and should then be able to sync it to Project Hosting
(either with or without resetting your Project Hosting repository).
    Also, your general questions about properties that have nothing to do
with Project Hosting might best be asked on the users' list of the
Subversion project.
