Is there any chance that you may have starred that specific issue (even accidentally)? When you visit http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=7648 do you see the star on the left of the page enabled or disabled? This is a little bit more of a stretch, but is there any chance that you have subscribed to a mailing list to which the android project's issue notifications are being sent?
