I would like to assist with the maintenance of pyevent
<http://code.google.com/p/pyevent> . This project has lain fallow for
months. Releases have not been made for years.

I've attempted to contact the owner, but he does not list his contact
information anywhere (only his web address <http://monkey.org/~dugsong/> ).
His web page does link to a twitter account, so I attempted to contact him
there <http://twitter.com/#!/jaraco/status/91996107328069632> , but received
no response.

My google code account is 'jaracosan'. I'm a Python developer for YouGov, a
contributor to CPython and various other open-source projects, and the
author of several other open source projects. My goal is to keep pyevent
maintained.

Please let me know if there's a way I can become an owner of the project or
if there's an avenue I haven't considered to contact the current maintainer.

Regards,

Jason
