I am using a Python queue library that has not been maintained for a year. I have filed numerous issues with no response. I emailed the author at least a month ago with no response.
I would like to take over maintainer ship of this project for now. There are open issues from other users that I would like to take care of as well as my own. If the author resurfaces, I will gladly hand control back to him, I don't want to fork this project or maintain my own local version as there are obviously other users that would benefit from active maintenance.
