Hi

I would like to request the use of the project name "openlisp"

I am working on an open source project with the same name (check
www.openllisp.org) but the current hosting will end in a couple of months.

I own the openlisp.org, openlisp.net, and openlisp.com domains and recently
started building the new website using google apps (mailing not yet enabled
this will happen when I shutdown the existing mailserver).

Apparently it exists an openlisp project in google code that looks abandoned.

How long has the project lay fallow? If less than 6 months, don't be optimistic
about being assigned ownership of the project.
Last update is from February 2008.

Is there something "fishy" about the circumstances of the request? People squat
project names much as they do DNS names.
The project looks like as should be a collection of functions, but it is not
clear.
Is there code in that project? If so, it is much less likely that we will
reassign ownership of that project to you except for the purpose of continuing
development of that code.
There is no code available.

Is the project scheduled for deletion? If so, we'll likely just give it to you.
Not that I am aware of.
Is the project you wish to take over a spam trap or hosting malware or simply
not open source?
The is no code so I cannot completely answer the question. However somehow it
refers to ActiveX functions.
Have you made an effort in good faith to contact the current owners? What, if
anything, did they have to say in reply?
I contact the owner a couple of months ago but I did not receive any answer.
Has one of the original developers died or otherwise dropped off the grid in
some fashion that you can describe to us?
I cannot answers since I do not know the owner and I received no reply to my
mail.
Have you hosted malware, spam or non-open source content on Project Hosting
before? If so, don't be optimistic that we'll cooperate.
This is my first attempt to create a project with Google Project Hosting.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.
