By default this commands checks out the "master" branch of the remote
repository:

git clone https://[email protected]/p/starlab/

Now assume that my remote origin does not have a master branch, because I
want
to have branches which have all meaningful names, like:

origin/
> starlab_full
> starlab_core

But if I try the clone above on this code.google.com repository, I get:

warning: remote HEAD refers to nonexistent ref, unable to checkout.

If I had access to the .git on the server I would know how to change it...
How can this be fixed (*on the server*, not locally!!!)
