Yeah, but that's not really a donation. That's more like a small short
kickstarter project. It's close to what free+pro apps do on android (play)
market now, but it not only allows people to try and pay if they like, but
also give them a feedback channel to say what they want to see next.

Projects can't do that without some special integration. It's a pain to
manually register a separate donation button for every issue in a tracker.
It should be easy. Nobody would use it if it is that hard to use...

I guess I missed the moment sourceforge added such feature. And I can't
find it now. Just general donation button, but no way to request a specific
feature and pay just for it. Can you point to anything about it, some
examples or at least how this feature was called at sf.net, so I could
read about it and learn from their mistakes?
