It depends on your repo software (git, mercury, svn).

For example, to access the root of the master branch of a git project:

http://<project_name>.googlecode.com/git/

I don't know how on svn (maybe try /trunk/ or /<hist>/trunk/ )

Dunno how to use mercurial.
