Hi there.

I've recently been using the open-source project go-dbf for an internal
project. It needed some love to get into a usable state (see link). I've
tried contacting the author via email, G+ instant messaging, and now
go-nuts (
https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!topic/golang-nuts/LwEhh1floPg), all
to no avail. I don't want to see these changes lost, or the project
abandoned, as I'm likely to need it again in the future. To that end, I'm
seeking permission to take over its admin/development.

Failing that, I'm considering taking a fork and hosting the fork elsewhere
under a similar name to ensure the changes are available to others.
Honestly though, if I can track the original author down and get the fixes
incorporated, I can avoid all this. :)

kind regards,

Lindsay.
